Dragonflies have long been associated with transformation, adaptability and the reminder to live fully in the present moment. Many people believe they carry messages of comfort, renewal or connection to loved ones who have passed on. Ever since I began painting dragonflies, people have quietly shared deeply personal stories with me about what these creatures mean to them.
It’s fascinating how certain tiny creatures gather meaning over time and become attached to memory, hope and the people we carry with us.
This original painting is part of my Small Guardians collection, inspired by the winged and wandering creatures children notice immediately and adults often rediscover when they need them most.
