Everyone has a place in this world that they connect to. A place that is sewn into the fiber of their being. My place is in the redwoods, near the foggy ocean and amongst the apple trees. It’s a place where birds compete for the blackberries and owls protect the night sky. I was married there and my children visit their grandparents to play in the playhouse their dad built with his brothers. This collection is inspired by the Twin Hills.

In the Cascade Mountain Range there is a string of volcanic peaks that make up the Three Sisters Wilderness. This area is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. It is wild and untouched.

This collection is inspired by one of my family’s favorite spots to explore. It’s a lake in the Cascade Mountains where we play with butterflies and pick wildflowers. It’s covered with snow all winter long so in the spring and summer months, we frolic on its shores and swim in the sparkling blue water. We get there early in the morning and stretch our days until dusk.

This collection is inspired by the arid landscape in a high desert canyon. The dry dusty rock walls juxtapose the lush floor of a canyon that is nourished by the river water. When adventuring there, it’s impossible not to be reminded of the immense power of water and the history of the place you stand.

This collection was inspired by my most cherished memories camping with my family in beautiful places. During the long, hot days of summer, we can most often be found with our quirky little 1950’s camp trailer parked near a riverbank or a lake in Central Oregon. This time in nature has brought us together as a family and created a strong appreciation for the outdoors in our two young girls. We spend our days exploring new dusty trailheads and searching for wildflowers. Our nights are spent identifying constellations, playing guitar by the fire and sleeping by the light of the moon.
